As I look outside and it is pouring it down with rain I wonder to myself is Summer actually over? And if it is, do I need to start thinking about my C*****mas goals? (can’t quite bring myself to write that word just yet!)
So with just a few weeks until the kids go back to school and normal routine resumes I want to turn your attention to getting goals set and plans in place for your end of year fitness, health & weight loss goals.
A reminder of what you can potentially achieve between September – December
1. Run your first 5K / 10K / Half Marathon (or even Marathon!)
2. 2 stone weight loss (perhaps even more!)
3. Drop 2 dress sizes (or more!)
4. Feel more energised, healthier, confident & happier (guaranteed!)
Once you have decided what you want to achieve, I want you to think about HOW you are going to achieve your goal(s) and start putting a plan in place to achieve them.
The sooner you decide what you want to achieve and how you are at least going to start achieving your goals, the more prepared you will be when the kids go back to school and you get some time back for yourself and normal routine resumes. So don’t delay! And do get in touch if you need some help with goal setting, training programmes, nutrition or motivation.
Note: This advice is suitable for beginner level upwards, but please consult your GP or physiotherapist if you are unsure about any potential contraindications.
