If you’re not currently following an exercise programme then I’m sure your answer would be a big fat NO, but if you have been training over the past few months then you may be wondering how the time off could impact on your goals.
So in this week’s video blog, I talk about the types of active recovery you could be doing whilst on holiday.
My advice is suitable for everyone – regardless of whether you are currently exercising or not.
Benefits of active recovery:
Fitness & muscle tone maintenance
Release of “feel good” hormones
Burning holiday calories to maintain weight
Mental recovery to feel fresh & energised
Reduce muscle & joint stiffness
If those benefits don’t encourage you to keep active on holiday then I don’t know what will!
