Thank you for booking your free online Personal Training taster session. The following information will prepare you for your session.
What is the aim of the session?
The aim of the session is to introduce you to online training and our team of trainers (Veronica, Steve & Becky) and for us to get to know you and your current level of fitness.
What should I wear for my session?
It is important that you feel comfortable during your session. We recommend a cotton or sports t-shirt/vest with shorts or leggings and trainers.

How long is the session?
All sessions are 30 minutes – please login 5 minutes before to ensure the session can begin on time. If you want to start warming up before the session then please do and allow some time after the session to stretch and cool down.
Do I need any equipment?
You don’t need anything specifically, but if you have any dumbbells or a kettlebell then we will often make use of them. A floor mat would be advised too.
What will we do in the session?
During the session you will be introduced to a range of different cardio & toning exercises that are suitable for achieving your goals. The format of the session varies from month to month, but generally it is most like a circuit style interval workout.
How many people are in a group session?
There will be up to 6 people in the group session, but please don’t feel like you have to keep up with anyone else as everyone gets to work at their own pace. We will also tailor the workout to individual clients where necessary – for example injuries.
What happens after the session?
If we think we can help you achieve your goals, you will be given the opportunity to sign up for a kick-start training programme and commence training as soon as possible. If, however, we think you need advice from another professional, we will point you in the right direction first.
PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
Cancellation Policy
Programme fees will not be refunded (in part or full) if you change your mind or your circumstances change preventing you from attending the sessions. Programme fees are also non transferable unless agreed otherwise.
If you are unable to attend, please text 07999338825 giving at least 24 hours notice for the class to be rebooked. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will NOT be rescheduled.

Attendance at your first session assumes you accept the above information.
DISCLAIMER
Any exercise session carries with it an element of risk. The sessions are designed to minimise these risks whilst providing an effective workout. Please inform your instructor if, for any reason (such as injury or illness), you feel you should not participate in any part of the session.
If at any time you feel undue pain or excessive discomfort stop the activity and inform your trainer of your symptoms. You are free to withdraw from the session at any time.
- I accept full and complete responsibility for my participation in the sessions.
- I understand that I may withdraw from the sessions at any time.
- I agree to hold Becky / onesixeight: fitness free of any and all liability for any subsequent injury or health complication that though unlikely, may result from or be aggravated by my participation in these sessions.
- I understand that payment for all session must be made in advance and that I am not entitled to a refund if I am unable to attend unless at least 24 hours notice is given.
- I will also take it upon myself to notify my trainer of any changes to my medical history or current state of health.
